Engineering Services Specialist
Location: San Jose, CA
Country: USA
As an Engineering Services Specialist you have the responsibility for the on-site support of customer’s Engineering Services requirements. Activities may include:
- Organization and Entrance of Product Data into PLM and ERP systems
- Review and update of Part Numbers, including RoHS specifications
- Processing Changes - Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s), Change Orders (ECO’s), New Part Requests, etc.
- Process Deviations and Manufacturing Requests
- Other projects as specified by the customer
Responsibilities
- Position based in San Jose, CA
- No travel outside the area is required
Required Skills and Experience
- Hand-on knowledge of Engineering Services processes
- Configuration Management expertise
- Flexibility and Teamwork
- Minimum of 5 years of high technology industry experience
- Minimum 5 years of Engineering Services experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience working with the following PLM and ERP applications: Omnify, Expandable, QAD, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Baan, SAP.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Understanding of electronic components and RoHS requirements
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- PLM industry knowledge
- Knowledge of the High Technology product development flow

Education
- Degree in Business or Accounting is preferred. A minimum of 5 years hands-on Engineering Services experience in an OEM environment is a must.
