Outside Sales Account Manager
Location: San Jose, CA

As an Outside Sales Account Manager you have the responsibility for Sales of PLM and integrated business solutions. To do this, you must be able to create new business opportunities utilizing exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to network effectively with all levels of the organization. This position operates under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
Responsibilities
- Position based in San Jose, CA
- Up to 25% travel may be required
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven Sales track record in the PLM and/or EDA tools space
- Leadership expertise with both strategic and tactical sales
- Existing sales network in the Silicon Valley
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Industry knowledge of PLM, Component Content, and EDA software applications
- Ability to identify appropriate solutions and develop ROI business cases
- Familiar with office solutions including Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Salesforce CRM.
- Minimum 5-7 years of outside sales experience in the high technology sector
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in the PLM, SCM, ERP, DMorCRM technology field (or similar) into SMB accounts in thehigh technology sector
- Understanding of the Integrated Solutions competitors for the SMB space
- Hands-on experience with business process applications supporting the product development process

Education
